I’m creating a conlang based mainly from Austronesian languages, but there will be interesting features incorporated from other language families as well as I come accross them. I will call the conlang as Remiŋgoч, and it will be using the Kawi script or Javanese script, mainly because Kawi script is the most beautiful script not only among Austronesian languages, but arguably in the whole world.
As of the moment, it will have the same base words as the reconstructed Austronesian root words. The morphology and syntax will be similar to Borneo-Philippine or Outer Hesperonesian languages and Formosan languages initially. I will post the grammar in the following weeks.

As far as an auxiliary language is concerned, can I put in a word for the global language Esperanto?
It’s unfortunate that only a few people know that Esperanto has become a living language.
During a short period of 121 years Esperanto is now in the top 100 languages, out of 6,800 worldwide, according to the CIA factbook. It is the 17th most used language in Wikipedia, and in use by Skype, Firefox and Facebook.
Native Esperanto speakers,(people who have used the language from birth), include George Soros, World Chess Champion Susan Polger, Ulrich Brandenberg the new German Ambassador to NATO and Nobel Laureate Daniel Bovet.

I’ve heard Esperanto before, but I was not particularly interested in it before and even now. One of my purposes with Remiŋgoч is the same purpose as LL Zamenhof had when he first created Esperanto: a second language to foster international understanding. But from my limited knowledge of Esperanto is that it is Euro-centric, so that prevents it from being a universal language at all. Its Euro-centric because its entirely based on European languages : phonology and semantics is Slavic, vocabulary is Romance/Germanic, grammar is Western Indo-european, and its script is Latin-based. I intend Remiŋgoч not to be regional or parochial but to have the best features taken from all the known living and dead native languages, integrated logically. It will be an evolving conlang.
I also do not view as positive your news that there are people who speaks a conlang natively (Esperanto). This is because (1) changes, modifications, enhancements to its grammar, vocabulary and phonology will become difficult to implement, (2) it will be subject to phonological, semantic and grammar shifts once spoken independent of the creator’s intent, (3) native speakers will have no natural language to identify with, (4) it will have usages apart from what was originally intended, (5) native speakers will not appreciate and value the diversity of languages, and possibly many more. For all its features, Esperanto could be a regional language in Europe (EU?) and for europhiles, not ‘a’ or even ‘the’ universal language of understanding.
